    Hey man, I just tried doing this, I followed your instructions word for word, even rechecked it 3 times for errors… all it does in firefox is create a row of seperate boxes at the top of the browser window with a bullet point and 1 link each.

    Might want to consider updating this for todays browsers, as well as the most current versions of XHTML and CSS.

    Hi, nice tutorial, thanks!
    I have tried something similar, but encounter an issue on my web site.
    My menu bar is in the header file, which is loaded on every page. The first level shows fine, but the drop-down list is hidden behind content of the page.
    I tried using z-index, but it didn’t work. I tried it with position absolute and relative, none worked.
    Any ideas?
