Always ask the reader for their opinions on you have written at the end of post, like this one for example. It makes you feel like the writer values you opinion. I’m also a big fan of the star rating plugin, that really helps add interactivity to a blog.

I love the ideas put forward to enrich the level of interactivity. Other than the tricks which you’ve mentioned here, I think there’s another way whereby you can invite users to participate in your blog by asking them to contribute contents or photographs and in return, offer them credits and acknowledgment. Works well for me so far, just hope that helps. Cheers

I’ve found that adding a “subscribe to comments” option leads to great interactivity as users will come back to leave more than one comment. It’s a good community builder and easy to implement.
