Description
This WordPress theme features the latest post of the blog with an image to make it stand out. I suggest you use Simple Brown as a personal theme.
Use Images In Your Latest Post
You can use images in this theme to spice up your latest post. Here’s a small tutorial on how to do that.
- Upload your picture. I recommend you use an image that has dimensions of 450 by 200 pixels.
- Copy the URL of the image
- When you are editing your post, scroll down. You will find an option to add custom fields.
- Add key image and add the URL of your image to the value box.

I’ve been looking at something similair looking at the layout for my business. To have kind of a section on the front page quickly just giving my elevator pitch and then on to the blog.
I don’t see many that I can quite customize like I’d want to that don’t cost, well, a lot.
An option has emerged, but change takes time.

indeed, it is a simple theme but then it looks wonderful..
i think this is recommended for newbie bloggers to start with
nice design in general but the colors are a bit bland for my tastes, i dont think you can go wrong with a nice light blue and white like the theme you have in place now.
very simple yet elegant-looking!

I realy love this design and the color scheme is nice too. I’m going to use this design in my next wordpress blog. I’m just trying to figure out what images I should use for the most recent posts. I don’t want them to stand out too much wich is possible with the brown color scheme.

Great Job on the template. Clean and simple. Very readable, and modern looking. Magazine style menus are the way to go…It may be a cool idea to set it up so the color templates can change.

Another really nice theme. Some of the themes I’m seeing around here are quite nice. I like that this one is colourful yet understated. It doesn’t blind you with graphics, but the colors make it far from boring.
