Description
This WordPress theme features the latest post of the blog with an image to make it stand out. I suggest you use Simple Brown as a personal theme.
Use Images In Your Latest Post
You can use images in this theme to spice up your latest post. Here’s a small tutorial on how to do that.
- Upload your picture. I recommend you use an image that has dimensions of 450 by 200 pixels.
- Copy the URL of the image
- When you are editing your post, scroll down. You will find an option to add custom fields.
- Add key image and add the URL of your image to the value box.

I’ve been looking for a theme like this that allows me to play around with images in the posts. And what’s great is that the last post is styled differently. I guess I can build upon that!

Good post! Costumization of colors is key as sometimes templates just don’t feel quite right.

I am confused by a point, what is the meaning of “# Search Engine Friendly” in design perspective? I think we have plugins for SEO and search engines. How a design could effect search engines? I am sorry if it looks like a dumb question but it is so confusing for me(I am learning and reading from blogs to create own themes).
